Calm in the Current explores what it means to find your center when the world refuses to sit still. A woman reclines in a small boat, steady and unshaken, even as the water shifts and pulls around her. She isn’t escaping anything — she’s choosing presence.

The piece asks a simple, urgent question: how do we hold our inner peace when everything else is in motion?

Within The Conversation series, this work becomes part of a larger dialogue about grounding, self-awareness, and the resilience it takes to stay whole in a restless world.
